About Me…

madscientist

Bwah hah ha ha!

My name is David McKee, I am an Electrical, Computer, and Software Engineer, and Amateur Scientist, amongst other things…

I have a beautiful wife and three beautiful kids – no two alike! I am truly blessed.

I enjoy building useful things, and doing crazy experiments, and performing various shenanigans.

I like Questioning Authority – If something is a true “Authority” then it can stand up to questions, if it cannot stand questions, it was never an authority in the first place. (although it might have power, enough to hurt or kill you, but that is a different thing altogether).

I think stupid rules were meant to be broken.

I want to find the magick* in the world…

You no doubt saw my short list of example questions on the first page… well… Questions like that can get you in trouble – and that can be a good thing, at least for the real scientist…

If you want to know more about me professionally, click the resume link on the right which will take you to my linked in page.

So this blog will be a place for my electronic/online version of my lab notes and experimental results as well as anything else I feel like discussing.  I hope you find useful things here and always feel that this world is not only stranger and more wonderful than we know, but stranger and more wonderful than we can know.

Anyway I will catalog my experiments and builds here as I find time.  Enjoy!

*: Magick, a definition…

“Magic” is when you pull a rabbit out of a hat…

“Magick” is when the rabbit pulls you out of a hat.

(In either case, I am highly suspicious of that hat…)
